Welland city workers reach tentative agreement

WELLAND, ON –/COMMUNITYWIRE/– A tentative agreement has been reached between Local 1115 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE 1115) and the City of Welland.

The two parties met on Monday with a provincially appointed mediator and reached the tentative agreement. Details of the agreement will not be released until it has been ratified by the city and the members of CUPE 1115. The union has scheduled a ratification vote for its members on Wednesday, April 21.
