Now Open at Elocity in Toronto’s North York

TORONTO, ON –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Plug’n Drive, a Canadian non-profit dedicated to electric vehicle (EV) education and awareness, has launched a new satellite location at Elocity in North York. Located at 156 Duncan Mill Rd, Unit 23A, this site offers free EV test drives and information on the benefits of electric transportation.

Experience the Latest EV Models

The satellite location features three brand new EV models that rotate from our fleet stationed at the nearby Electric Vehicle Discovery Centre in Yorkville. Currently featured at Elocity are:  

  • the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV,
  • the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV, and
  • the 2025 Volvo EX30.

Visitors can explore advancements in EV driving features, battery technology, and charging options to support their transition to electric driving.

A Hands-On Approach to EV Education

“Expanding access to EV test drives and education is essential to helping more Canadians make informed transportation choices,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive. “This new satellite location brings EV experiences to more people, allowing them to learn about the technology and its benefits in a hands-on way.”

Expert Guidance and Free Parking

Plug’n Drive staff are on-site to provide information about driving an EV, charging infrastructure, and cost savings associated with EV ownership. Test drives are available by appointment only, and parking at the location is free.

Those interested in booking a test drive can do so online by visiting the EV Discovery Centre webpage.

Supporting Canada’s EV Transition

With the transition to electric transportation playing a key role in Canada’s climate goals, Plug’n Drive continues to expand its efforts to make EV education accessible. This satellite location adds to the organization’s ongoing initiatives to support drivers in making informed choices about going electric.
