Indigenomics Institute Launches Indigenomics 50 Challenge
The challenge invites 50 Canadian organizations to advance Reconciliation Action Plans through LEGO Design Sessions
VANCOUVER, BC –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– The Indigenomics Institute is excited to announce the launch of the inaugural 2025 Indigenomics 50 Challenge. This challenge is inviting 50 organizations across Canada to advance corporate reconciliation action plans through the transformative Indigenomics LEGO Design Sessions this year. Based on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Call to Action 92, this initiative invites organizations to integrate economic reconciliation into their strategies and engage meaningfully in advancing Indigenous economic inclusion beyond the $100 billion Indigenous economic target.
Indigenomics LEGO Design sessions provide a creative and collaborative platform for organizations to build critical Indigenous social and economic outcomes. Participants will develop actionable frameworks that incorporate their reconciliation strategies into organizational practices, fostering partnership, innovation, and shared prosperity. The Indigenomics LEGO Design Sessions are part of the Institute’s mission to align corporate reconciliation efforts with building outcomes in the Indigenous economy by addressing barriers to Indigenous participation.
The Institute will be hosting five design sessions throughout the year across the country. The first session will take place on April 7th, prior to the Indigenomics IMPACT forum being held at the H.R. MacMillan Space Center in Vancouver. Remaining dates and locations have yet to be confirmed, but each session will be limited to 10 organizations.
