COBOURG, ON –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– On Tuesday morning, a 15-foot wooden Trojan Horse will visit Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg, symbolizing the “duplicity of the Ontario PCs hospital services’ privatization plan.”

As part of their province-wide tour, CUPE’s Ontario Council of Hospital Unions (OCHU-CUPE) and the Ontario Health Coalition are using the Trojan Horse to represent the threat of privatization. The two organizations are calling for an end to the government’s privatization of hospital surgeries, and demanding investment in staffing and capacity in public hospitals.
