MEDIA ADVISORY: Education support workers to rally in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Education support workers who are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) will rally in Lethbridge tomorrow for better wages. Most education support workers in Alberta have not had a wage increase in eight years. The average wage of an education support worker is $34,300 per year.
CUPE Alberta President Rory Gill will be present and available to speak with the media.
