Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Tour Hits Québec City with Free Electric Vehicle Test Drives and Education

From September 18 to October 5, Experience EVs, Have Your Questions Answered by Local Experts, and enter to win 250,000 RBC Avion Points!
QUEBEC CITY, QC –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour will arrive in Québec City with its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) and a fleet of new electric vehicles (EVs) for no-pressure test drives in the area.
MEET Québec City will give local drivers the chance to get behind the wheel of various all-electric vehicles as well as plug-in hybrids, including electric pickups and SUVs. Visitors to CAA-Québec headquarters will be able to speak with expert EV Ambassadors, most of whom are also local EV owners, about what it’s like to drive an EV year-round – an invaluable resource for EV-curious consumers.
Win 250,000 RBC Avion Points
When you visit MEET Québec City and test drive an electric vehicle, you can enter the EVs are for EVeryone Tour Contest, presented by RBC, our National Champion Sponsor.
Two lucky winners — one from Eastern Canada and one from Western Canada — will each receive 250,000 Avion points, enough to redeem for an electric scooter and more.
How to Enter:
· Visit a MEET event and scan the contest QR code to enter.
· No purchase necessary. One entry per person. Open to all MEET visitors.
Every Thursday to Sunday between September 18 and October 5, MEET Québec City will be hosted at CAA Québec at 444 Rue Bouvier, Québec City, G2J 1E3. Test drives will be available from 10 am to 5 pm during those days.
CAA-Québec is the Local Presenting Sponsor and Quebec Towing Sponsor, helping to move the MEET into the province with its electric GMC Silverado pickup truck.
One of CAA-Québec’s other EV education efforts includes a national CAA EV Buyers’ Guide, which has EV Finder functions that suggest vehicles based on your driving patterns (even if not EVs), as well as lists of current EVs sold in Canada and those coming soon.
“It’s exciting to see the leading role that the province of Québec has played in the adoption of EVs in
Canada, so we’re happy to help continue that momentum by helping to bring this fleet of EVs, and EV information in general, to people in historic Québec City,” said CAA-Québec Vice President of Mobility Services, Pierre-Serge Labbé.
“We created an online EV Buyers’ Guide at CAA to help Canadians choose the right EV for their own lives and driving patterns,” adds Mr. Labbé. “Being able to test drive a number of them back-to-back, as well as talking to EV drivers, will be a true eye-opening experience for many who haven’t tried them yet.”
CAA-Québec will have two of their own EV Ambassadors onsite, alongside others from the Association des véhicules électriques du Québec (AVÉQ), to help coordinate test drives, and answer questions on local EV and charging experiences.
Online reservations for MEET Québec are recommended, though walk ups are welcome as well. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license.
