Plug’n Drive’s Cross-Canada EV Tour Returns to Edmonton with Free Test

From August 21 to September 7, Experience EVs Firsthand and Have Your Questions
Answered by Local Experts
Edmonton, AB –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– After making a stop at the Edmonton Motor Show in April, Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour is back in Edmonton, this time with its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) and a fleet of new electric vehicles (EVs) for no-pressure test drives in the area.
The upcoming MEET Edmonton will give local drivers the chance to get behind the wheel of various all-electric vehicles as well as plug-in hybrids, including electric pickups and SUVs. Visitors will be able to speak with local EV owners about what it’s like to drive an EV year-round – an invaluable resource for EV-curious consumers.
Thanks to the Tour’s National Champion sponsor, RBC, attendees can also discover how to earn 15,000 Avion points when they finance an eligible electric vehicle with RBC before September 5, 2025 — a rewarding way to make the switch to electric.
Every Thursday to Sunday between August 21 and September 7, MEET Edmonton will be hosted at NAPA Auto Parts – Edmonton (East), at 5013-127 Ave. N.W., Edmonton, AB T5A 0B4. Test drives will be available from 10 am to 5 pm during those days. Online reservations for MEET Edmonton are recommended, though walk ups are welcome as well. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license.
Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Tour is a landmark initiative bringing electric vehicle education and hands-on test drive experiences to communities across Canada. As the National Site Sponsor, NexDrive Powered by NAPA supports the Tour through its network of certified locations, each equipped with the tools and training needed to service electric and hybrid vehicles.
“NAPA Canada shops have long been the go-to place for vehicle parts and service,” said Yves Racette, Director of NAPA’s High Voltage/NexDrive development program. “Now with NexDrive, we’re making sure that our customers can be confident that these facilities and technicians are equipped and trained to repair any type of electrified vehicle.”
MEET Edmonton is the seventh Western MEET of Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour in 2025.

“Whether you’re looking at an all-electric pickup truck, SUV, sedan, or a plug-in hybrid vehicle, the best way to experience them is from behind the wheel,” said Angie Thomas, EV Ambassador Team Leader for MEET Edmonton. “Plus, there will be EV Ambassadors there that own their own EVs and will be able to answer questions about EV ownership with no sales pressure or commitment.”
