SASKATOON, SK –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Plug’n Drive is rolling into Saskatchewan with its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) as part of the EVs are for EVeryone Cross Canada Tour, offering free, no-pressure test drives and on‑site electric vehicle (EV) expertise in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
Starting Thursday, May 22 through Sunday, June 8, MEET Saskatoon will be set-up at NAPA Auto Parts – Unified Auto Parts at 2815 Faithfull Ave., Saskatoon, SK S7K 8E8, every Thursday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, featuring electric and plug‑in hybrid vehicles from multiple manufacturers.
NAPA, powered by NexDrive, is proud to serve as the official Tour Site Sponsor, helping bring this hands‑on driving experience to the local community.
“Whether you’re curious about plug-in hybrids that drastically cut gas usage, or fully electric models that eliminate it altogether, this is a chance to experience the technologies everyone’s talking about,” said Yves Racette, Director of Program Development, NAPA/NexDrive. “We’re excited to bring these vehicles directly to the community.”
This stop in Saskatoon marks the third Western Canada location for Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross Canada Tour, showcasing how electric driving cuts costs and emissions—in a brand‑neutral, sales‑free setting.
As Champion Sponsor of the Tour, RBC is helping make this coast‑to‑coast educational initiative possible.
“It’s more important than ever to help Canadians understand the benefits of going electric—from saving money to reducing emissions. Supporting this EV tour is one way to make information more accessible and emphasizes RBC’s commitment to supporting the transition to a net-zero economy,” said Kim Ulmer, RBC Regional President.
