VANCOUVER, BC –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Plug’n Drive is thrilled to announce its partnership with RBC as the National Champion Sponsor of the EVs are for EVeryone Cross Canada Tour, a groundbreaking initiative bringing electric vehicle (EV) education and test drives to communities across the country.

This announcement comes as Plug’n Drive and RBC welcome Vancouver International Auto Show (VIAS) attendees to the EV Test Drive feature, presented by RBC and delivered in collaboration with Plug’n Drive and eMotive.

As a leader in EV education, Plug’n Drive is committed to making electric mobility accessible to all Canadians. At VIAS, attendees will have the opportunity to test drive a variety of EVs in a no-pressure, sales-free environment, while gaining valuable insights into EV ownership, charging, cost savings, and environmental benefits. RBC’s support of VIAS 2025 and the EVs are for EVeryone Tour reflects its strong commitment to sustainability and Canada’s transition to a low-carbon future.

“Canadians want to make informed decisions about their next vehicle, and there’s no better way to learn about EVs than getting behind the wheel,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive. “With RBC’s generous support, we are bringing EV education and test drives directly to communities nationwide, ensuring more Canadians can experience the economic and environmental benefits of driving electric.“

The EVs are for EVeryone Cross Canada Tour extends beyond VIAS, offering free EV test drives and education events in cities across the country. As the National Champion Sponsor, RBC is helping Plug’n Drive reach thousands of Canadians who may not otherwise have the opportunity to explore EV technology firsthand.

“Research shows that hands-on experience is important to accelerating EV adoption,” said Thea Silver, Senior Director, Environmental Impact, RBC. “That’s why we’re bringing EV education and test drives to the Vancouver International Auto Show and to communities across the country, so we can help more Canadians experience EVs and consider a switch to electric transportation.”

Plug’n Drive and RBC invite VIAS attendees to visit the EV Test Drive feature from noon on March 19 to 5 PM on March 23 and encourage Canadians nationwide to stay tuned for upcoming Tour stops.
