Humi is partnering with Canadian accelerators, incubators and ecosystem hubs to elevate the standard of employment for startups.

TORONTO, ON –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Humi, the leading employment platform for Canadian businesses, has launched its Innovation Partner Program to support the scaling of small businesses and accelerate innovation across Canada.

Accelerators, incubators, and ecosystem hubs can sign up for Humi’s Innovation Partner Program, offering members a year of free access to Humi’s employment platform. This provides founders with essential tools and resources to scale their small businesses while conserving capital. Early partners include Yukonstruct, House 831, DMZ, Ripple Ventures and Platform Calgary.

“With our goal to help founders build and scale impactful startups, Humi’s Innovation Partner Program was a perfect fit for our community,” says Olivia Lunderville, Incubator Program Manager at DMZ. “Since joining, our founders have really benefited from the platform— it cuts down on administrative work and gives them time to focus on what really matters: growing their businesses.”

“Collaboration is the foundation of every startup, so we are thrilled Humi is extending their support to Yukon’s vibrant entrepreneurial community to level up their employment experience,” says Erin Scott, Director of Entrepreneurial Programming at Yukonstruct. “From payroll to SR&ED claims services, our members will greatly benefit from this leg up as they focus on growth and innovation.”

Members of the Innovation Partner Program will receive access to Humi’s employment platform with a free package of streamlined HR, payroll and time off management. The operational support sets founders up for success as they grow their teams. Humi also offers benefits and Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) claims services. Humi’s SR&ED claims service helps startups save on research and development costs by offering technical reports, reviewing claims and eligibility, and ensuring every possibility is explored to maximize claims.

“Through growing Humi from a startup to a scaleup and working with Canadian businesses every day to improve their employment experience, our team understands first-hand the support Canadian small businesses need to thrive in today’s competitive market,” says Kevin Kliman, co-founder and CEO of Humi. “We’ve designed this program accordingly to give founders access to the resources they need to innovate faster, whether it’s onboarding new talent or maximizing their SR&ED claim.”

“As we grow the program, we plan on expanding it to partner with VC funds and investors to support their portfolios and facilitate better access to funding for our startup customers. We’re also looking to bring other Canadian tech companies into the fold to offer partners a more robust tech stack,” adds Chris Wainwright, COO of Humi. “Our vision is to help accelerate the Canadian economy by empowering Canadian businesses to be better employers. The Innovation Partner Program is just one of many exciting steps for us in creating momentum to help all businesses in Canada.”
