Details of the tentative agreement will be released following a ratification vote.

BETHESDA, ON –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– CUPE 2977 is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement with the employer, Bethesda Community Services, has been reached.

The local represents more than 200 workers employed as Developmental Support Workers, Recreation, Maintenance and Cleaning staff at the Fly Road location and surrounding areas in Vineland.

“While these were long and challenging negotiations, ultimately, I’m pleased with the results and wholeheartedly encourage our members to accept this agreement,” said local president Heather Francey.

“Our members provide a wide range of services to enrich and enhance the lives of the people they support. We are thankful job action wasn’t necessary.”

Following the ratification vote next week, details of the agreement will become public.
