MEDIA ADVISORY: CUPE locals joining rally in solidarity of locked out Black River-Matheson municipal workers

MATHESON, ON –/COMMUNITYWIRE/– Since October 15, 14 full-time municipal workers in the Township of Black River-Matheson have been locked out of their workplace. To show solidarity with CUPE 1490, members from various Northern Ontario CUPE locals will travel to Matheson, ON for a rally.

WHO:
Members of various CUPE locals, including CUPE 122 (North Bay municipal workers) and CUPE 4705 (Greater Sudbury municipal workers).

WHAT:
Rally in support of CUPE 1490 members (Black River-Matheson municipal workers)
