Indigenous organizations across Canada ran Money Matters for Indigenous Peoples workshops throughout the month, helping their learners build confidence in their ability to manage their finances and work to achieve their financial goals with the right tools.

The ABCs of Conservation Volunteers

Over the years, the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’s) Conservation Volunteers (CV) have helped protect habitat for many species, all while creating a budding community among nature lovers across Canada.

Since 2006, NCC’s CV program has engaged more than 16,000 Canadians at 1,361 events from coast to coast. At these gatherings, volunteers work together toward specific conservation goals set out by NCC. Whether it is a coastal cleanup or surveying an area for rare species, each event works like a paint stroke in the conservation masterpiece.

Calgary, October 25, 2017 – More than 430 women in the Canadian agriculture industry are gathering in Niagara Falls for a one-of-a-kind experience of professional networking and personal inspiration.

The two-day Advancing Women in Agriculture: Life Skills for Leadership Conference takes place on October 30 & 31, 2017 and is the 7th conference in the series in Canada. This year organizers added a one-day tour of the wine country and 75 women from across Canada will be experiencing the area and industry.
