Showcasing clean transportation solutions and offering expert guidance to support Canada’s shift to zero-emission mobility

TORONTO, ON –(COMMUNITYWIRE)– Plug’n Drive is excited to return to Electric Autonomy’s EV & Charging Expo, this year, once again leading the Ride & Drive registration for passenger and commercial vehicle test drive, as well as speaking on an important panel about EV charging in condos and strata.  The event is being held in Hall A at the Enercare Centre, Exhibition Place, 100 Princes’ Blvd. #1, Toronto, ON  M6K 3C3, on May 14 and 15, 2025.

Register with Plug’n Drive to Get Behind the Wheel

Experience some of the latest in electric and hydrogen cars, vans and trucks on a five-and-a-half minute 1.8 km outdoor track on public roads. The Ride & Drive vehicle line-up includes over a dozen vehicles and features vans, trucks, SUVs and cars from brands like Ford, Jeep, Kia, Ram, Rizon, Toyota and Volkswagen.

“Whether you’re searching for your next personal vehicle, or evaluating sustainable options for your business or fleet, the EV & Charging Expo is the ideal place to get behind the wheel,” said Tracy Walden, Plug’n Drive’s Vice-President of Engagement. “It’s a pressure-free environment to explore options that are available and to find out what they offer in terms of comfort, performance, function, and long-term cost savings—whether you’re driving for daily errands or managing a fleet.”

Ride & Drive Details

Secure your preferred time and vehicle for a test drive by visiting the Ride & Drive registration desks in the North West corner of the Expo hall. Test drivers must be 21 with a valid full/unrestricted Class G driver’s license.

Hours for the test track are: 

  • Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
  • Thursday, May 15, 2025, 9:15am-4:45 pm

Don’t Miss the Condo/Strata Charging Panel

Plug’n Drive President and CEO, Cara Clairman, will speak on a timely and important panel titled Legal Rights & Policies for EV Charging in Condos and Strata. This expert panel will explore what condo and strata residents, tenants, boards, and property managers need to know about:

  • Navigating the legal process for securing charger approvals
  • Understanding board responsibilities and owner rights
  • Managing shared charging infrastructure and avoiding costly retrofits
