“Retooling our world for the future”: A virtual summit advocating the public-ownership and re-purposing of manufacturing

TORONTO, ON --/COMMUNITYWIRE/-- A cross-country panel of community leaders, environmentalists, and labour and social justice advocates are joining for a virtual summit advocating for public-ownership and re-purposing of manufacturing. The summit, taking place over Zoom and organized by Green Jobs Oshawa and the Durham Region Labour Council, will highlight the need for, and the benefits of, retooling manufacturing.  

WHO:  Community leaders; environmentalists; labour and social justice advocates.

WHAT:  A virtual summit exploring and advocating public-ownership and re-purposing jobs for socially beneficial manufacturing.

WHEN:  July 16, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
