ALS Forums Relaunches Improved Support Community

ALS Forum, a support community aimed solely at people affected by ALS has relaunched their support community with an improved website. 

ALS Forum is a volunteer-driven support group launched in 2003. Our members are affected by ALS and share their experiences to help others better deal with this disease.

ALS Forum has been online since 2003 and has helped support over 1 million people with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease).  With over 28,000 registered members, the ALS Forum is the single largest online community for people with ALS.

ALS Forum is a volunteer-driven support group for people with ALS.  The recent relaunch has provided improvements to the website as well as design updates, including:

  • New logo and site design
  • Mobile friendly and mobile responsivity
  • Payments system to allow members to upgrade their account

Community software updates include:

  • Ease of use and quick browse
  • Ability to quickly paste media files (videos and pictures)
  • Overall quality of life improvements

In addition to technical updates the ALS Forum has also added the abilty to quickly register using Twitter, Google Account, Microsoft Account, LinkedIn, Yahoo and Facebook.  The goal of quick registratoin is to make it easier for others to get involved and participate.
